Available Online Help Topics for Troubleshooting and Various Computer Issues

    July 14th, 2010 by admin

In our early years, we were being taught by our teachers in grade school the basics of the computer, its history and the different applications that were made available.

I remember the time how my computer teacher would assist us on how to use Lotus 1-2-3 and Word Perfect. I have to tell you it was a bit difficult compared to what we are using now, where everything is user-friendly.

Now, there are a lot of help topics available online. There are a lot of websites dedicated in assisting beginners, intermediate and advanced users on what information they require for a particular software like Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Professional and more. Apart from that, they also provide troubleshooting guides in terms of connecting to the internet, installing printers and the list can go on and on.

Questions like how do I alphabetize in Excel or how do I average in Excel are available online. Aside from giving you a step-by-step guide, sometimes there are websites that provide a visual demonstration on what should be done.

With all these information readily available, there have been massive foreclosures of computer learning centers or computer institutes. However for some that are still trying to survive, the best way to beat the free online help topics is to make sure they focus more on the technical aspect of the software or the machine rather than teaching basic concepts about it. Others keep up by offering online courses as well. Who would not want that? Having to learn an additional skill on your own sweet time?

As for me, online help topics are very useful most especially for providing tips and tricks on how to maximize your use of the software and the machine as well.
