Email reliability depends on your choice of server

    July 7th, 2010 by admin

Among friends and associates the most used email servers are Yahoo, Google, Hotmail and AOL as far as I have observed.  Yahoo has got my four main email addresses.  Two email accounts for business, one for family, friends and associates and the other for registering online on doubtful websites.  They also serve as my alternate email for Gmail but I forgot my alternate email address for hotmail.  One of my Yahoo emails had a problem five years ago.  It seemed to have been hacked.  Friends and I noticed this when I am logged in to my regular Yahoo messenger account.  It also shows that other Yahoo to be logged in and online at Yahoo messenger!  I have sought the help of Yahoo support on this but they were not able to do anything about it!  Until now it has not been resolved.  I could not close or neglect that account because it is for business.

I forgot my email address for hotmail to be used instead for business.  The reason probably why I forgot about it is because it had so little storage then.  Some emails sent to my hotmail account with attachments sometimes don’t go through.  I am not sure if it is still the case right now.  I check my account there only once a month or even less.  I still could not get the hang of navigating hotmail.  It is so irritating to delete junk mail then going to the ‘trashcan’ to empty it.  What should go only to the trashcan are regular mails that we delete to have a chance to retrieve them.  MSN could not get over making hotmail like the desktop of Windows that’s got a recycle bin.
