Thank you messages from beyond

Harold Keating claims that he is getting thank you messages from his dead grandmother via text. The odd thing is, she was dead long before cell phones sent text messages. How does Keating explain this seeming inconsistency? Why on earth does he think his grandmother, Hilary Keating, is texting?

“Spirits are energy,” said Keating. “Just like lightning, magnetic force, and electricity.” He explains that Grandma Keating has been trying to speak with him for over forty years, however, he has barely been able to understand her. Now that spirits have figured out that it easier to connect to their loved ones via texts, he says, more people will be able to hear them.

“It’s a simple energy to energy transfer that isn’t clouded by our perceptions of what’s possible,” said Keating.

Although no scientific experts we contacted would go on record giving any validity to Keating’s claims, Georgina Miller, psychic and medium, says, “I believe him.”

And what does Grandma Keating have to say to her grandson? “Thank you,” Keating said. I knew it was her, because she called me HayLay. I used to call her that and then she called me it back when I was little. The message just read, ‘Thank you, HayLay.”

What is Grandma Keating thanking him for?

“I’m not sure exactly,” he said. “I think it may be just for talking to her all these years. We were very close when I was young, and I never quit the habit of talking to her. Letting her know how I was doing. She used to say that old people were forgotten. I wonder if many of dead think they are forgotten, too.”

Even if it isn’t true, it is a nice thought that a simple message of gratitude can cross even the boundaries of death.
